Organized by Bone on Bone Project Coalition, Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, also read from ancient Hindu scriptures Rig-Veda, Upanishads and Bhagavad-Gita (Song of the Lord) on the occasion at Classic Residence.

The event also marked the first anniversary of the Coalition. Guitarist Jim Eaglesmith and songstress Kate Cotter provided entertainment on the occasion.

This Coalition, which aims to support artists without healthcare, "is a group of artists accessing creative measures to address the human needs of health care". This Project was inspired by the Dr. Young's life and work. The name Bone on Bone referred to Young's discovery that both her hip joints were bone on bone.

In a remarkable interfaith gesture, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed explained in a Christian church in Nevada (USA) on October 23 and 24 what Hinduism had to offer.

Participating in a panel discussion at Summit Christian Church in Sparks, Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, talked about the concept of God, life after death, scriptures, etc., in Hinduism.

Rajan Zed quoted from ancient Hindu scripture Bhagavad-Gita (Song of the Lord) and explained that physical death was not considered final in Hinduism and Self acquired a new body when it was worn out.

Other participants in the discussion included Jewish Rabbis Anne Persin and Teri Appleby, Muslim Imam Abdulrahim Barghouthi, Rick Lund of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and theology professor Dr. David Timms. Steve Bond, Senior Pastor of the Summit Christian Church, who acted as moderator, said that this discussion was organized to help wrestle the question "Are all religions the same?"

Theme-line of Summit Christian Church, a non-denominational church launched in 1998, is "Love God, love people, serve others". Its beliefs include: Bible is the inspired Word of God;

God is one; Jesus Christ is true God and true man; People are created in the image of God but are separated from God by sin; etc.
