Bollywood projects are coming along, and she's also occupied with composing music for father Kamal Haasan's film Unnaipol Oruvan — the Tamil remake of A Wednesday! Now, the one-film-old actress has donned a new hat. That of a director. Shruti will get behind the camera to co-direct a music
video for Kamal's film as well.
She has even conceptualised the video. And roped in younger sister Akshara too. A trained hip-hop and jazz dancer, the junior Haasan will be choreographing this video! A source reveals, "The song titled Vaanum Ellai Illai, also called Easier Said Than Done, is a hip-hop number and features the international rapper Blasé. The music video is a modern take on the theme of the film and contains lots of elements based on terrorism. It's actually a contemporary expression of the same subject and the actress is using hip-hop to spread a political message."
