Happy Anniversary to my amazing husband!

Two years ago today I said "I do" to my best friend!

I still get chills thinking about that amazing day and how beautiful it was to be able to share it with all of the people we love so much. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Hank, and everyday I reflect on what an amazing partner he is. Kind, loving, compassionate, fun, so incredibly handsome...he is truly the best person I've ever met in my life and I'm truly PROUD to call him my husband.

We celebrated our first anniversary last year at the beach in New Jersey. It was at the beginning of our three-week East Coast trip, and it was such a perfect day. I can't wait for our anniversary trip to Hawaii, and to spend another romantic week with my husband in celebration of our marriage.

Summer deliciousness!

I am so addicted to Cuties. They are definitely my favorite warm-weather snack and Hank and I buy them by the boxful. I just snapped this photo, and this is the fifth cutie I'm working on at the moment. SO GOOD. I'm just a huge fruit fan overall and that's basically all I eat in the summer. When the temperature goes up, anything heavy just sounds gross, so fruit is really the best choice!

As far as unhealthier snacks go, I can't get enough of Italian Ice! I was just reminiscing about Rita's Italian Ice back East. I love love love that place, and it's such a bummer that we don't have one in Arizona...or anywhere close! Whenever my family and I take our annual trip to NJ and the East Coast we go there about a million times. I also get the cherry ice and vanilla custard gelati. It's seriously to die for and Hank, my sis, and I are addicted to it.



I also need to mention another favorite summer treat- Kohl's orange and vanilla swirl cone. Unfortunately this is also an East Coast-only treat, and it can be found on the boardwalks of NJ. This photo was shot last summer at Seaside during our time there. Sigh. Why must all my favorite foods be so far away?

Cait's graduation

On Saturday, we headed up to beautiful Hillsborough, to attend Caitlyn's party, celebrating her graduation from UMass, where she played lacrosse and got a degree in English and Philosophy...and heading to law school next! I am so very proud of her. It's always such a neat thing to see someone you've spent your entire life with grow up and accomplish huge things, and it's especially special with Cait, because I have seen her from a little infant to now. She's all grown up! It was an amazing day. Uncle John's cousin is a chef for Donald Trump (haha!), and he created a huge, huge 10-course meal. I ate every single course, and it was all so delicious. I don't think I have eaten that much in years, but so worth it. They even cooked special things for Hank so he could enjoy too.

It was a perfect day in their backyard...isn't all of that green beautiful! I have so many amazing memories spending so much of my childhood playing in that very grass.
