The important verses about Krishna written in Bhagwat Gita.

http://www.freewebs.com/shaktiananda/The%20great%20central%20sun.jpg athama
I and you and others were present in earlier years also and shall be present in future years also. These bodies are parishable. Atman or Krishna can not be destroyed. Atman is not active, can not be cut, can not be vatted or dried. It is omnipresent and stationary. It can not be changed. All creations were without body before birth and without body after birth.

tatwa
Universe is part of Cosmos. Universe and cosmos can not be separated and so can not be destroyed. He , who knows meaning of Tatwa written in the Vedas or Books or Shashtra , knows Universe in reality. Brahma creates Devta, Human Being and Tiryak ( Birds, Animals, Reptiles , movable or non movable etc ). Since when it exists and till what period it may continue is not known. One should be free from desires ( Vasana ), attractions ( Mamta) and should try to find Param Ishwar or Param Atman. One should work hard. Area which can not receive light from Sun and Moon is where I live. ( This may be an indication that Atman is not part of skin. It may be heart or inside heart). Jeev Atman is part of my Atman. Jeev Atman attracts Tri Gun Maya. Mind and 5 Indriyan are attracted by Tri Gun Maya".Beautiful simlie is narrated here.

indriyan
As Air takes smell from one place to the other place, in the same way Jeev Atman takes mind and 5 indriyan to other body which it receives. ( Verse no 8 of Chapter 15 of bagavadgeeta). Knowledgeable persons know this theory of life. They know that Jeev Atman leaves one body and go to the other body fixed for Atman. Intelligent person tries and knows that Atman is situated in the heart of creation. Heat of Sun or Fire is part of my heat. My heat only enters in to earth and helps to grow vegetations or medicinal plants. With my heat in human body 4 types of different foods are digested. Body of human being is perishable and Jeev Atman is not perishable. Any person, who knows my theory of life, is intelligent person. Oh Arjun I have told you very secretive knowledge ."
keshava hindu gods lord krishna and radha satwik In chapter 16 of Gita-Krishna says " Now i shall explain you regarding Devic Wealth and Asuri Wealth. A person who is fearless, pure from inside, trying to know theory of life , Satwik donation, Control on desires, worshiping and performing good actions, not harming any one with words, body , or mind, truthful words, without anger or control on anger, feeling of no action done by me, Pardon, tolerance, no enmity all the said characteristics are of persons having Devic Wealth.

gita updesha wallpaper religious hindu gods lord krishna and radha desireOh Arjun Pride, Anger, Harsh words, are characteristics of persons of Asuri Wealth. Devi Wealth gives Moksha and Arjun you are having Devic wealth. Human being with Asuri nature person says that there is no God and world is created by combination of Men and women and human being should enjoy luxuries, fighting for wine, women and wealth and I have succeeded and I am the best . I shall do and I shall enjoy and attracted to wards desires and sex. These person get hell. Such type of persons get again and again Asuri Yoni. Sex, anger, greed takes a person to hell. So one should control desires and should achieve Param Gati."
wallpaper religious hindu gods lord krishna and radha kama artha There is connection between sex, anger and greed to instability of mind or brain. If one does not control sex, anger and greed then one may always get depressed. Sex , anger and greed are like fire. One can never be satisfied. There is no limit of wine drinking, women consuming, or wealth possessing. It all creates jealousy, hatred, anger and mind can never be stable. If mind is unstable or unsatisfied , it emits special type of electrons and all these electrons creates different amino acids and all this creates unhappiness. These are not the characteristics of scientist. Knowledge of Tatwa can not be gained by unstable mind. So to know theory of Tatwa or life one must work hard and should have control on desires and work hard and should be free from desires or craze to get more money or wealth. It does not mean that sex or wealth or wine is not good. One should work or act but should not be part of actions. All actions are part of destiny. So It is state of mind " doing actions but not involving in these actions" ( Involve means doing action without caring for results) bagavad gita

organic farming in Himachal Pradesh

Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar advocated the use of organic farming in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh, where, he said, farm practices were still saved from the menace of pesticides.

The founder of Art of Living Foundation sent out a strong message to use spirituality to remove the growing lack of trust among people and also root out social evils.

"Dhayan and pranayam can be effective tools to bring us closer to each other," he said. He also made an appeal, particularly to doctors, to take a pledge to put an end to female foeticide and effectively contribute to empowerment of women. Citing the example of southern states where alcohol is not served at weddings, Sri Sri said this needs to be propagated in Himachal as well where drinking is common at such occasions.

He also underlined the need to curb corruption, especially at the grass root level and said people at large can play an active role in achieving this objective. Sri Sri, who always teaches spirituality that enhances human values such as love, compassion and enthusiasm and is not limited to any one religion or culture, kicked off his week long tour of Himachal from Solan and would be holding teaching sessions in Shimla, Sundernagar and Dharamshala in the coming days. He asked Solan residents to take out at least two hours every week to keep their city clean and doing their bit to save the environment.

There was a huge crowd of devotees not only from all over India. Many foreigners also participated in the 'mahasatsang'. Excitement was quite evident among the devotees to have a one glance of the saint. "It feels great after meeting Guruji. We came so far just to meet him. After meeting him its feels that life is complete now", said Dr Kavita Maria, devotee from Chandigarh. A song recital by HP folk singers with more than 100 musicians, directed by veteran local singer, K L Sehgal was also held. On Tuesday, over 500 village women, accompanied by 800 musicians will perform 'faag' as part of the event.

Mayurasana

Mayurasana

Mayurasana, also known as the peacock pose, is an advanced yogic posture. Gently coaxing the body to perform this asana over a period of time is better than trying to achieve quick results through force. Mayurasana strengthens the body and helps in purifying the body internally and externally. In particular, it burns all the toxins that have accumulated in the body and helps balance all the internal systems.
Mayurasana
  • Kneel on the floor.
  • Place feet together and keep knees apart.
  • Lean forward and place palms between knees on the floor, with fingers pointing towards feet. Bring elbows and forearms together.
  • Lean further and rest abdomen on elbows, and chest on upper arms.
  • While keeping legs together, stretch them backwards and straighten.
  • Tighten the muscles in the body and slowly raise trunk and legs off the floor until they are parallel to the ground. Hold head upward.
  • In the final position, the weight of the body should be balanced on abdomen and not on chest.
Benefits
  • It stimulates the metabolic processes in the body.
  • It helps eliminate the toxins present in the bloodstream, thus helping in the alleviation of skin conditions.
  • Performing this asana massages all the internal organs in the body and increases their activity, including the liver and kidneys.

2 asana to make you fell lighter

Ushtra Asana

Kneel down with your heels facing the ceiling, toes turned outward and arms hanging loosely by the sides. Breathe in. Raise arms gently to shoulder level, then higher, and finally backwards such that your palms touch the heel of the corresponding foot. Stretch your neck letting your head fall backwards. You will feel the stretch in your spine. Gently push the pelvic region forward, improving upon the curve of the spine. Breathe normally. Breathe in and return to the starting position. Repeat two to three times. Each time try to hold the stretch as long as you comfortably can.
Why it works
This asana stretches your entire upper body — the neck, chest and stomach. These places house the lymph glands such as the thymus, tonsils and the spleen. They are primarily responsible for filtering out bacteria and other waste from the blood. Inefficient lymph glands lead to inefficient drainage and collection of fat. Ushtra Asana mobilises the lymph glands, hence preventing cellulite. The increased blood circulation and faster cell rejuvenation within these regions helps bust existing cellulite, slowly but surely.

Virya-stambhan Asana
Stand with feet spread wide apart, toes pointing straight ahead. Turn the right leg at a 90 degree angle. Then bend the right knee. Hold your right wrist with your left hand behind your back, bend to your right and gently attempt to touch your big toe with the tip of your nose. However ensure that as you bend, your right knee or right thigh doesn't come in way of your right shoulder. Hold this position for up to 30 seconds. Inhale and slowly return to the start. Repeat the exercise with your left leg. Repeat the asana two to three times.
Why it works
This asana really stretches the inside of your thighs. Rising back from the bend strengthens the thighs, exercising them is similar to working with weights in a gym. This helps burn fats in the thighs. It also exercises the lymph nodes present in the groin area and improves the blood circulation in lower region, thereby busting cellulite pockets.

Purna Shalbh Asana
Lie on your stomach. Make a fist. Position it under your thigh, elbows straight. Breathe in. With the support of your folded fists, lift up both legs without bending them at the knees. Tighten the back of thighs and buttocks, holding on to the final pose for as long as possible. Relax the tightened thighs and buttocks. Breathe in. Now, holding your breath, gradually lower the legs to the ground. As your legs touch the ground, release your breath and breathe normal. Repeat two to three times, each time trying to hold on to the final pose for as long as possible.
Why it works
Lifting the legs and trying to hold them for a long time requires strength. As you try harder, the fuel required to get that energy is generated by burning up the fat in thighs and buttocks.

Paschimottan Asana
Sit down with your legs outstretched in the front, touching each other, your arms to your sides. Keep your spine erect and raise both your hands above your head, while the inside of your arms touch your ears. Exhale and pull the stomach in and bend forward, stretching your hands towards your toes. Now try to hold your toes with your fingers and subsequently with practice, try to touch your forehead to your knees. Hold this final pose for as long as possible, after which you inhale and gradually come back to the starting position.
Why it works
As your body bends forward, your entire back area (considered your west side in yoga) is stretched. The bending movement affects every part from the heel's tip to the neck (inclusive of the hamstring muscles, buttocks, waist, back and the medulla oblongata).
This extreme stretch works the major muscles of the back, along with the skin. The stretch causes better blood circulation within the region and prevents build up of fat. The skin too is stretched leading to better elasticity and over time can aid in reducing the dimpled look that cellulite is characterised by.

my sixth sense works

In a research that points to the existence of "sixth sense", scientists claim to have found evidence that a couple can become physiologically aligned even without having physical contact with each other.

In fact, the study, led by led by Sydney's University of Technology, has found that some couples are so in tune that their brains begin to work in synchronisation — with parts of their nervous systems beating in harmony.

The scientists studied the brains and heartbeats of 30 volunteers during counselling sessions by counsellors and found identical patterns of brain activity in those who had become so close they were "physiologically aligned".

That means they had reached a state in which their nervous systems were ticking over in harmony, helping them to know each other's thoughts and emotions, the Daily Mail newspaper reported.

The scientists believe the findings also shed light on the behaviour of couples, close friends or family members.

Psychologists have long known that some couples learn to think like each other — allowing them to "know" what their partner is thinking or about to say. But, this new study goes further by looking into the activity of the nervous system.

Dr Trisha Stratford, who led the study, identified a crucial moment when the counsellor and patient's brains started to work in sync in an "altered state".

Your Yoga Instructor Hates You

Whether it's for a meditative de-stress, a quiet sanctuary, or better ass, yoga-goers have their own reasons for ending up on a paper-thin mat in tight black (please black!) pants.

But yoga students often overlook that the moment they inside, it becomes all about them ... and their favorite sanskrit-spewing, (seemingly) eternally happy instructor who, with a quick bow of the head and a sweet "namaste," seems to be unfazed. Oh, how wrong they are.

This week, we provide you with yet another reminder that people out there -- including your flight attendant, cocktail waitress, pizza delivery guy, and Starbucks barista -- really do despise you. And yes, even your yoga teacher falls gracefully into that category.

The instructor we spoke to loves her job guiding people to enlightenment through tons of sweat and a few good downward-facing dogs. But there are just a couple (or 10) things about you that tend to really throw off her chi ...

1. Excuses, excuses.
You come in and give 101 reasons why you're not going to work hard today: "My back hurts, I went hiking, I lifted weights, I'm sore, I pulled a muscle, I have a headache, I might be pregnant, I'm feeling under the weather, I'm on call, I might have to pee, I didn't get much sleep, I'm scared, hold me." Unless you have a serious acute injury, I don't want to hear it. Do the best you can -- not for me, for you. If you are assuming I am judging you for what you are doing or not doing, remember it's yoga. It's not like the gym where you run faster or pump 20 pounds more just to prove to the person next to you that you're tough.

2. Skip the smelly stuff
No wonder you have trouble breathing: You are wearing enough cologne or perfume to fumigate a small house. Believe it or not, you may think you smell amazing or that your new Beyonce perfume will somehow cover up the sweat you're about to induce. But there are other people around you that may be sensitive to, or even allergic to, what you've so liberally doused yourself in before attending class. Deodorant is great and will do the job -- cologne and perfume will likely cause people to scatter from your general area or sneeze and swell up like a balloon.

3. You're gonna regret that...
You chug water like a banshee, then complain that you can't do the posture because your stomach hurts. This might not be obvious, but it's a recipe for throw-up in your mouth when you down an entire liter of water before a posture. Especially when you're about to do a pose where your head is going below your waist -- this causes what I call the teapot effect: All the water you just chugged exclaims, "tip me over and pour me out!"

4. You're a drama queen.
Grunting, scowling, wiping off, flailing around. Save the drama for your momma, or anybody else -- just not me. Making an exhibition of yourself because you aren't made of rubber like the gal in the front row is not making it any easier and isn't giving me any sympathy for you.

5. I would rather not bear witness to your Britney.
For not only my sake but for your fellow students as well, please do the once-over for holes in the crotch, see-through material, and underwear. Please don't forget the underwear. Recently I had a very athletic-looking male student shirtless and wearing swim trunks in his first yoga class ever. About halfway in, he strips off his swim trunks to reveal a pair of fitted bicycle shorts in the glorious color of white. It might not have been that bad, but his skin was really dark and the moment he started to sweat I could see all the ladies become distracted with thoughts of dolla bills being tucked in those shorts.

6. The bottom of your feet look like you walked through a Walmart barefoot to get to class.
This is one of the biggest pet peeves for a yoga teacher. First of all, you take your shoes off to enter a yoga room to keep the floors clean -- if your feet are dirtier than the bottom of my shoes, this defeats the purpose. Second, once you begin sweating, your nasty blackfoot is going to rub all over your mat and towel and cause a weird situation for you as you try to avoid putting your face or any other body part in the black tar spots. Third, it's not that hard to just rinse off your feet before class.

7. Welcome to the lion's den.
Like a territorial animal, you are fiercely protective of your "spot" in the room. You know the saying, "don't poke the crazy?" Well, yoga brings out a sort of weird ritualistic behavior in some people, resulting in what can only be perceived as territorialism. Yoga is a practice that is much about becoming unattached to things and letting go. So watch out, I'm gonna come and take your spot and help you on your way to becoming unattached to your place in the room.

8. Put down the crackberry.
You think you're so sneaky: You hide your phone under your mat and try to send off a text while everyone is laying down in Savasana. This astounds me. Mothers and fathers: If you could kindly come to realize that we live in a digital world and it is becoming even more important for your children to know that there are appropriate times to use and not use a cell phone. I know they insist on having their phone surgically attached to their hands at all times, but seriously -- educate. Don't send them off to yoga class unprepared and expect me to be the one teaching this lesson. Unless you are an emergency room surgeon on call, there is no reason your phone should be in the yoga room or in use at any time during class!

9. You're a buzz kill.
You leave the room at the end of class in a whirlwind of huffing, crackling water bottles, jangling keys and slamming doors. Congratulations, you've just ruined final meditation for everyone else.

10. You look better in your little yoga shorts than I do
Just because you have amazing genetics and don't hold an ounce of body fat doesn't mean you're better than me. You have to do the posture just the same as everyone else and don't expect praise from me just because your tiny shorts fit your perfect little booty like a glove.
