Afghans Find Tons of Iranian Weapons

Authorities in southwestern Afghanistan have seized 19 tons of explosive devices that had been transferred across the border from Iran, police said.

UPDATE: The weapons were explosive charges shaped as toys, packages of food and household items; similar to the ones the Soviets used against Afghan civilians during their occupation.

Iran has committed numerous acts of armed aggression in Iraq and Afghanistan, either directlty or by proxy, that have resulted in the deaths of Americans, Iraqis, Afghans and international relief workers.

So the Iranians' "Peaceful" Busehr reactor is now up and running off Russian nuclear material. Nonetheless, we are assured that Iran is still years away from having the Bomb and this Administration, by God, Allah and/or Barry, is on top of it.

Except that it may already be too late.

One of the facts about nuclear materials, even nuclear weapons, is that their country of original can be traced by trace elements in the materials... or their post-explosion residues.

Iran now has Russian nuclear materials. Putin now has deniability if he were to discreetly sell a couple of Russian-made nuclear weapons to the mullahs. "Bozhe Moi! Who Knew They Were So Far Along In Their Refinement Program? We Would Never Have Sold Them Fuel If We Had Known That! What a Tragedy About Tel Aviv... and Diego Garcia...."

It's hard to believe, but Vladimir Putin may have put something over on our sharp as a tack President...

Antimullah.com reports that closed door meetings of the Iranian leadership are underway in Tehran.

Five Revolutionary Guard Commanders have killed by a suicide bomber, ostensibly in connection with a Sunni insurrection movement. No explanation has been offered of how the IRG, which trains, deploys and supports suicide bombers in Iraq and elsewhere, could have been unprepared for an attack of this nature.

Meanwhile, conflicting explanations of the absence of Ayatollah Khameini are being floated by various elements within the Iranian government, as rumors of his death continue to circulate. Parallels with the death of Khomeini continue to mount.
